Say hello to our newest brew, 254 Niaje Kenyan Lager Beer. Inspired by the Japanese who add rice to bring crispness to their beers, some might rightly call this an Asian lager. But we got bamboo in Kenya too you know! And with a few special twists from our brewers in Kikuyu, and the freshest rice from the rolling plains of Mwea, we christined this our Kenyan lager. Crush a glass or three with some Nyama Choma and pili pili. Niaje!

Started by Eoin & Megan initially as a Craft Beer Club, 254 Brewing has gown into one of Kenya’s most exciting producers of craft beer. We love it because the brand and the makers are super dynamic, coming up with new brews regularly. They try as much as they can to implement a circular economy, recycling spent grain back into the system – e.g. to farmers or to other makers, and also taking back their bottles to reuse.
