This entry level Bunnahabhain bottling comes in a redesigned bottle. This Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky is a light, fresh dram, bottled at the higher strength of 46.3% – for more complexity and flavour.

First launched in 1979, the Bunnahabhain 12 year old has endured almost 40 years, thanks to the passion and dedication of its distillery team, not to mention the love and support from the fans and friends around the world.

This 12 Year Old has set the tone and the benchmark for the rest of the range – only the best will do. Double Matured in Ex Bourbon and Ex Sherry Casks, this whisky is beautifully rich and full-bodied, achieving the perfect balance of the characteristic nutty and sherry flavours of Bunnahabhain.

On the water, away from the smoke and bustle of Islay lays the islands most restrained distiller. While they aren’t averse to the occasional heavily peated experiment, the majority of the range remains lightly peated. The spirit instead shows off the unique dark, nutty, rich profile created by this ancient and unique processes. The distillery prides itself on a no nonsense approach to single malts.

Where its more flashy brothers (Lagavulin, Laphroaig) focus on the distillery experience and a fluffy clean experience, Bunnahabhain looks used. Stills are dirty, barrels are being bounced and the whole place is always in operation! The result is this magnificent malt!
