Description

Thomas Dakin Gin is made with eleven botanicals including juniper, orange peel, English coriander, angelica, cubeb pepper and liquorice as well as “a hint of red cole” aka horseradish! It’s named after Thomas Dakin, who began producing gin in Warrington in the second half of the 18th century, founding what would later become Greenall’s. He was a pioneer who made gin of a surprising quality for the day, and who is rightly celebrated.

Thomas Dakin Gin Tasting Notes

Palate Taste: Thomas Dakin Gin presents a balanced and harmonious palate. On the first sip, you’ll experience a robust juniper flavor, which is complemented by a smooth and slightly oily texture. The palate reveals layers of citrus and spice, with a clean and refreshing finish that highlights the quality of its ingredients.

Flavour: This gin is known for its classic London Dry style with a modern twist. The dominant flavor is the piney, resinous juniper, which is accompanied by bright, zesty notes of lemon and orange. There’s a subtle hint of coriander and angelica root, adding depth and complexity. The overall flavor profile is crisp and well-rounded, with a pleasing balance between the bold juniper and the aromatic botanicals.

Finish: The finish is dry and clean, with a lingering essence of citrus and spice that makes it versatile for a variety of cocktails.
