The whisky is initially matured in bourbon casks before being moved over to ruby Port casks, imparting waves of scrumptious fruit and chocolate notes to the spirit. Superb as a postprandial dram.
Quinta Ruban 14 Year Old Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose:Â Summer fruit tart with a sprinkling of icing sugar, aromatic cedar, milky coffee and almond pastries.
Palate:Â Chocolate mousse, Bourbon biscuits, orange oil, more almond notes (now toasted), blackcurrant and raisin.
Finish:Â Lasting richness of stewed berries and dark chocolate.

A Ginger Lemon Old Fashioned
This #AGingerLemon serve is  an anagram of our name and our take on the Old Fashioned. It combines smooth notes of sweet ginger, silky Vermouth and our melt-in-your-mouth Lasanta for the ultimate cocktail with a twist.
Ingredients
Glenmorangie Lasanta
Sweet vermouth
Gingerbread syrup
Burlesque bitters
Lemon bitters
Lemon twist, to garnish
Quantities
45ml (1 1/2oz) Glenmorangie Lasanta
7.5ml (1/4oz) sweet vermouth
5ml (1/6oz) gingerbread syrup
2 dashes burlesque bitters
1 dash lemon bitters
Method
Pour everything into a mixing glass, add ice cubes and stir for a few moments. Strain into a chilled rocks glass, over more ice cubes, then set off the rich swirl of flavours with a spiralling lemon twist.
A Ginger Lemon- Highball
For this cocktail we twist and shake our Glenmorangie name into a sumptuous #AGingerLemon anagram . A dash of lemon bitters, a serving of The Original and a splash of ginger ale for good measure, our Highball takes on the signature serve and turns it up a notch.

45ml (1 1/2 oz)Â Glenmorangie Original
10ml (1/3 oz) rosato vermouth
1Â dash lemon bitters
1Â dash aromatic bitters
Ginger ale, to taste
Method
Fill a highball glass with ice cubes, pour in the whisky, rosato vermouth and bitters, then top with ginger ale. Add a twist of orange and crystallized ginger for a final flourish.
