The taste of ANGEL’S ENVY Bourbon Finished in Port Barrels is a treat to discover. With a gold colour laced with amber hues and nearly copper in tone, the first aromas are of subtle vanilla, raisins, maple syrup and toasted nuts. Tasting reveals more vanilla and maple syrup, along with ripe fruit, toast and bitter chocolate. The finish is clean, with a lingering sweetness and a hint of Madeira that slowly fades. It’s no wonder the angels are envious.

Inspired by legendary Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson’s lifetime spent crafting fine spirits, ANGEL’S ENVY is our masterpiece. Speaking of our name, it’s a story we love to tell. With barrel ageing, 5% of the spirit is lost each year to evaporation, and is called the Angel’s Share. After tasting our finished whiskey, Lincoln joked that we’d finally gotten a better deal than the angels. And so, ANGEL’S ENVY was born.

ANGEL’S ENVY Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Port Wine Barrels is a natural choice for any home bar. It’s an ideal centrepiece for a comfortable night in. It’s also a gift that’s instantly interesting. And here’s some bourbon trivia to go along with your elegant gift: a “straight” bourbon must be aged for at least 2 years and contain at least 51% corn in the mash. In case you’re wondering, we use 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley.
