A 1 litre bottle of Auchentoshan Blood Oak single malt, which was originally released for the Travel Retail Market. This expression was aged in a combo of bourbon and red wine casks, imparting waves of vanilla and red fruit. Very dramatic name. Very tasty whisky.

Nose: Juicy and rich with elegant wine notes, joined by a touch of golden barley.
Palate: Some classic red-wine spiciness starts to ramp up on the palate, with a little bit of Christmas-y clove. Citrus sits in the background.
Finish: Spicy and drying on the finish.
