Description
This Glen Deveron 28 year old was matured in sherry oak casks to produce a fruitier malt with a smooth and mellow finish. It was bottled from a collection of rare & aged Macduff malts, selected from the Private Reserve of Glen Deveron.
A 28 Year old Glen Deveron release, produced at the Macduff Distillery in the Highlands, using some of their rarest whisky stocks.
The distillery was originally acquired by William Lawson Distillers in 1972 and is now owned by John Dewar and Sons.
It begins with notes of baked apple and plum pudding before developing with flavours of creamy toffee and toasted cereal, with a hint of coconut.
