Glenfarclas 18 years is a single malt Scotch Whisky from the Speyside region in Scotland. This fine drop was distilled by the Glenfarclas distillery, which attaches great importance to tradition and here offers a real highlight from its range. Matured exclusively in the best oak barrels, the Glenfarclas 18 years brings a full-bodied taste and balanced aromas. It has an alcohol content of 43 % vol.

This is not just a 1 Litre bottle of Glenfarclas 18 year old Highland singe malt whisky but a result of over 175 years of tradition and experience – of secrets carried and nartured through six generations of the Glanfarclas family in Speyside.

Originally released as a travel exclusive, this Glenfarclas stays true to its typical distillery profile, lots of Sherry cask characteristics!

Glenfarclas is considered by many to be one of the finest distilleries in Speyside. Its direct-fired stills produce a heavy single malt that is almost exclusively matured in Jerez sherry casks. The distillery focuses on single malt over blends, and a cool microclimate around the distillery that means that their casks are particularly stingy to the “angels,” resulting in an incredible depth of stock. Glenfarclas also feel they share some credit for the modern day love of cask strength whisky, introducing their acclaimed 105 proof expressions back in 1968.
