Vina Pomal Rioja Crianza is a well-known wine in the famous Spanish wine region of Rioja. This iconic red wine, with aromas of red fruits and vanilla, has a smooth and fresh taste and is made for all types of food.
Viña Pomal Crianza is a must-try for any wine lover! Bodegas Bilbaínas, its producers, are experts in giving us the best of the Rioja experience. Founded in 1901, this winery has its origins in a group of entrepreneurial Bilbao businessmen lead by Don Santiago de Ugarte.

The wine is made from single varietal Tempranillo grapes grown in their own vineyards in the municipality of Haro at an altitude of 380 to 500 meters above sea level. The Cantabrian climate, protected by the Sierra de Cantabria from the cold northern winds, makes it an ideal place to grow premium quality grapes.

Viña Pomal Crianza undergoes a traditional vinification process, including destemming and crushing, alcoholic fermentation, and a two-week maceration. It is then aged 12 months in American oak barrels and a minimum of 6 months in the bottle.

Vina Pomal Rioja Crianza displays Picota cherry red with violet hues. High aromatic intensity on the nose: field flowers, black fruits and liquorice with hints of vanilla and roasted coffee. It is supple, balanced and fresh on the palate with good structure and soft tannins.
