Calvet Varietals Merlot Wine is very intense, almost black, garnet red to purple. Red fruit, blackcurants, with notes of spices, typical from this variety. Fine tannic body, notes of liquorice, fine persistence and long taste.

The combination of fruit sweetness, acidity and the roundness of the tannins create an excellent balance of the different components. Best served with classic food pairings like sweet and sour pork, tandoori chicken and mild cheeses.
