Description

Trumpeter Rose De Malbec Rose Wine is an extremely distinctive and intense wine with delicate aromas of cherries and strawberries combined with subtle toasty notes and delicious sweet tannins. An excellent aperitif or accompaniment to salads, shellfish, pink salmon or fruity desserts. Well balanced, round and persistent.

Trumpeter Rosé de Malbec Sparkling is a pretty salmon pink colour with fine continuous bubbles. Abundant aromas of cherry and strawberry combined with roasted quince and toast lead to more red fruit on the palate and a persistent finish. A dry, delicious sparkling rosé.

Trumpeter Rose De Malbec Rose Wine Food pairing

Will pair beautifully with appetisers and seafood, particularly cold dishes such as sushi. Otherwise, simply enjoy it on its own.

About this bottle

Trumpeter Rosé de Malbec Sparkling by Rutini Wines is a highly rated sparkling rosé from one of Argentina’s oldest wineries. The grapes come from the premier wine growing region of Mendoza in Argentina;  the high altitude and free draining soils stress the vines, resulting in lower yields but more intensely flavoured fruit.

This wine is made using the Traditional Method, the same method used to produce champagne. To explain the method: after the initial fermentation of the grape juice, the secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle. A time consuming and labour intensive process, this does however result in a sparkling wine with persistent fine bubbles.
